YUPO mixed media paper has multiple advantages over regular paper. Thanks to its apparently waterproof surface, this paper can be used in a special way.

On the one hand, and thanks to its finish, the paint may take longer to dry on this support. For this reason, the paper allows the applied ink to be erased, returning to the original color. This way you can add and remove layers of paint quickly. On the other hand, its resistance to water and tearing makes it possible to use it without prior tensioning. Unlike common papers, which warp with humidity, it can be used directly with a large load of water.

Uses of paper
As we said, paper acts differently from other papers. Due to its satin finish, it gives the impression that it repels water although in reality it is perfect for wet techniques. Thanks to its surface you can use all the water you want without fear of flooding it! It is perfect for techniques such as watercolor, fluid acrylic, spray or airbrushing.

Due to its resistance to humidity, we recommend that, if you want to get the most out of your watercolor paper, you use a lot of water. Thanks to this option and the surface finish you can create incredible textures. Furthermore, as we said before, Yupo paper allows you to erase entire layers. Thanks to its waterproof surface you can remove the paint, to do so:

Place a template over your work.
Dampen a paper or cloth.
Remove paint from the inside or outside of your stencil.
Keep in mind that if you wet your cloth too much you will risk removing paint uncontrollably. Thanks to this feature you can also play with making random textures, thus obtaining very original results.

In addition to these techniques, Yupo paper has been manufactured for alcohol inks: Very liquid inks with a glossy finish that also create incredible textures on this support. While it is true that the paper is ideal for any wet technique, this paper is designed to work with alcohol inks.

ATTENTION: **We offer the home delivery service for the canvases due to the difficulty of our clients in taking care of them, due to their size or distance from the home. Returns or exchanges of canvases are not allowed due to logistics, handling and packaging issues. The transport price refers to the net cost of what the agency charges us and the cost of packaging. For this reason, we inform you that there is no insurance cost included since neither the transport company nor the insurers want to take charge. This type of merchandise would require a custom wooden box, and we believe that the costs of such work would delay deliveries and increase costs substantially. For our part, we do everything possible to try to pack the merchandise as best as possible to be able to offer the service, but in no case are we responsible. To date, we estimate that in 3% of operations, the canvases arrive with some damage. The client must be willing to try to solve the problems with our help and advice. We also offer the client the possibility of purchasing the canvases with delivery to the store and having them picked up by their own agency. We limit ourselves to delivering the merchandise in its original condition, without packaging. Returns of canvases, paints, papers, or napkins are also not accepted.
