- Characteristics: In oil paintings, oils are one of its main components, they are the vehicle in which the pigments are contained. The addition of a greater amount of oil to oil paints modifies their: shine, dryness, elasticity, and adherence. It also lengthens the drying time. The type of oil chosen in the preparation of the oil colors will mark the physical and chemical characteristics that it must have. Oils are fatty substances composed of triglycerides or fatty acids (Stearic-Oleic and Linolenic).
- Uses: They are used mixed with oil colors to achieve greater fluidity, brightness, transparency and elasticity in them. They are necessary to bind the MIR Powder Pigments. 
- Tip's: It is important to ensure that the proportion of pigment/oil is balanced, since an excess or lack thereof will inexorably cause subsequent effects on the paint layer. It is advisable to keep the containers in bright places since the lack of light normally makes them yellow.

Decolorized Linseed Oil MIR

- Characteristics: Of all the oils, it is the one that dries best due to its high content of linolenic acids. Increases the brightness, durability and drying time of colors. It gives them greater fluidity and improves their brushwork. Bleached and acid-free oil, ideal for use in high-quality oil artwork.
- Tip's: It can be diluted with MIR Turpentine Essence or Petroleum Essences. Avoid using it in excess since the work will take longer to dry and will yellow over time.

ATTENTION: **We offer the home delivery service for the canvases due to the difficulty of our clients in taking care of them, due to their size or distance from the home. Returns or exchanges of canvases are not allowed due to logistics, handling and packaging issues. The transport price refers to the net cost of what the agency charges us and the cost of packaging. For this reason, we inform you that there is no insurance cost included since neither the transport company nor the insurers want to take charge. This type of merchandise would require a custom wooden box, and we believe that the costs of such work would delay deliveries and increase costs substantially. For our part, we do everything possible to try to pack the merchandise as best as possible to be able to offer the service, but in no case are we responsible. To date, we estimate that in 3% of operations, the canvases arrive with some damage. The client must be willing to try to solve the problems with our help and advice. We also offer the client the possibility of purchasing the canvases with delivery to the store and having them picked up by their own agency. We limit ourselves to delivering the merchandise in its original condition, without packaging. Returns of canvases, paints, papers, or napkins are also not accepted.
