Pebeo Marble

Pebeo Marbling consists of 9 colors and 1 thickening powder to carry out the art of marbling easily on fabric, paper or any other light base. The marbling technique used with Pebeo colors is a simplified and modernized bathroom technique. It can be done by anyone, even the youngest.
BATH PREPARATION Sprinkle 2 heaping tablespoons of thickener in 1 liter of cold water. Mix vigorously with a whisk, then let sit for at least 2 hours. Then spread a layer of gel 1 to 2 cm thick on a flat tray or container larger than the objects to be painted.
MARBLE MAKING: Using a dropper, carefully place the selected Marbling colors on the surface of the bathtub. - Let the drops spread for a few seconds before working them with a wooden stick, to obtain various patterns and marbles. - When marbling is complete, gently place the side of the fabric or paper to be painted on the surface of the color bath. Let it lie flat for 10 to 15 seconds before taking it out. Quickly rinse under running water to remove excess gel. - Place the painted base on a flat surface and allow to dry before fixing it by ironing it if necessary.
